“ I stayed in this hotel for five nights with my 16-year old son. First, location: the hotel is a five-minute bus ride to the main lift in Solden and 10 minutes in the opposite direction to Hochgurgl and so is ideally positioned if you wish to ski both resorts. Zwieselstein itself is small and quiet, which suited us perfectly. Our bedroom in the hotel was plenty large enough for the two of us, and lovely and warm and comfortable. The en-suite shower room/toilet also was very pleasant. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The sauna facility in the hotel has both dry and steam saunas, as well as showers (hot and cold) and a relaxation area - all most welcome after a day's skiing. The five course meal which is provided every evening is delicious and more than fills you up! The breakfast provided is also very good and sets you-up for the day. I highly recommend this hotel for families with children (it is only 200m from the hotel to the bus stop - on a flat pavement). ”
“ Excellent hotel to stay for thé following reasons. First, it is very beautiful looking in authentic Austrian village Zwieselstein 3km south of Solden in Ötztal valley in Tyrol area. Next, it is very calm and beautiful sightseeing surroundings, even when you look out of the window in your room. Very importantly, it is perfectly clean both outside and inside including rooms, halls and restaurant. The latter offers very good breakfast. I haven't had lunch and dinner but saw people from outside coming to eat at the evenings one might conclude that it should be very good as well. It seems not have an elevator but taking stairs to my room on 3rd floor was not problem at all. The bathroom was perfectly clean as well. Please note that no shampoo was provided, just a small soap. Last but not least, the staff is very welcoming and nice. Overall I recommend it, at least at winter I found excellent to stay there for several days. ”
“ In a very traditional style Austrian setting, they will offer you a very large menu with both traditional local dishes and international dishes. The staff is very friendly, service is quick and the food is fine. Sizes of the servings are rather large, so take note when ordering multiple courses. ”
“ Stayed here for 5 nights recently. Fantastic place to stay while skiing. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. Apartment was well furnished and brand new looking (even though built in 2019). Underfloor heating and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped for any meals while staying in Location is well suited for both Obergurgl (13-14 mins) or Solden (5-7 mins) by car. Local buses outside. Plenty of walking opportunities near by Age at the restaurant for dinner. Food was tasty and service was really good. Would happily recommend staying here ”
“ Great place to stay just 10 minutes away by bus from ski lifts. Very warm and cozy ambience, it’s being run by a family and every single thing inside is arranged with love. I had a half board and have to say that dinners were really awesome - chef was doing amazing job. One point I would improve is bad mattress - being too soft, but maybe it’s kind of a personal preference. ”

“ Stayed 6 days in February at this gasthof with halfboard. Amazing hospitality by staff! Everything you need for skiing holidays: nice spacious bedrooms, hearty breakfast and tasty 5 course dinner; sauna; close to a bus stop with easy reach to both Solden and Gurgl resorts. Zwieselstein itself is a picturesque quiet village. Looking forward to staying there again when skiing in the area. ”
